The best coaches have no interest in teaching. In fact, it makes them a touch sick even thinking about it. These coaches are out there in weird corners of the world trying to do everything in their power to never step foot on a tennis court ever again. And they would likely silently scoff or vomit in their mouth if they ever got called a ‘Coach’ in public.
Why? Why don’t they like coaching? Well, a big reason is because they’ve come to see that parents and players are largely unreachable. Their minds are too full of their own beliefs, hopes and ideas which they have gathered along the way from the cesspool of the tennis world!
What this obscure coach knows will only be wasted on people who don’t have the ears for it. In fact, the more the coach tries to help, the more that he will suffer, as trying to help someone who is completely unreachable is only an invitation for pain. And this type of rare coach is too uncompromising to dumb it down, or become a tennis turncoat, like the rest of the other real estate agents who call themselves coaches.
Yes, you read right. Modern-day coaches are nothing but real estate agents wearing sporting attire and carrying briefcases full of nothing.
A coach who is not interested in coaching should be in high demand!
Find yourself one if you can. They wont be in the yellow pages!
